Our Origin Story
Winning companies are created from an intrinsic drive to solve a problem and our story is no exception. Our founder, Robbie Rankin, isn’t our average marketing exec. For four years Robbie was the CMO of Athletic Greens, a supplement giant now worth over a billion dollars. His mission? Scale the business and generate revenue–lots of it. His first move, find the right marketing agency to help AG grow, but there was a problem. He couldn’t find a single agency that had the full-service expertise to scale the business to the next level. One agency might be data science experts, but their creative team fell short. Another might have a world class editing team, but little to no expertise in funnel optimization, and managing multiple agencies with piecemeal offerings was not only time consuming, but inefficient, frustrating, and costly. That’s when Robbie thought of something radical. No more run-of-the -mill agencies skilled at only one or two things, but a true end-to-end partner–skilled at scaling an ecommerce company on cold traffic.
Fast forward to 2016 and Tried and True Media was born. Since that time, we’ve grown to over 50+ marketing experts, working remotely across the globe. We have 30+ years of combined experience working with the highest volume direct response companies in the world and generating over $1.2 billion in Direct to Consumer product sales for our customers.
